Aspen Journalism (a Walton-funded online site) has a story up today about the proposed “Homestake” dam projects, which are on tributaries to the Eagle River in Eagle and Pitkin counties, Colorado, which is a tributary to the Colorado River.

These projects would further dam and drain the Colorado River and its tributaries. Save The Colorado opposes the projects and will fight them through the permitting process. Our policy is “No New Dams and Diversions” — it’s insane to be further damming and draining the Colorado River.
