Moffat Project A Threat To Colorado River?

One of the proposed new dams that would take more water out of the Colorado River is the “Moffat Project” near Boulder, Colorado. Local residents near the project gave City of Denver officials an earful on Thursday, July 21, at a hearing.

In the Colorado Daily, State Representative, Claire Levy, says: “I’ve made no secret that I don’t think we should have this project,” Levy said. “We can’t keep sucking water out of a river and killing it.”
